This site is a work in progress, and I hope you’ll return frequently as it evolves. I began quiltmaking in 1992, learning traditional hand-piecing, appliqué and quilting skills. I soon realized that working on a sewing machine would allow me to accomplish more. I began taking traditional quilts in a more contemporary direction with color and fabric choices and from there adopted innovative techniques to make art quilts. In 2004 I started adding beaded embellishments to some art quilts, and developed a bead stash to complement my fabric stash. I recently started using some of those beads to make beaded jewelry and I’m enjoying this new activity very much. Please take time to enjoy my 3 galleries: art quilts, utility quilts and beaded jewelry; and also visit my tallitot site.
